Incredible Korean BBQ and worth the long wait for a table. It's expensive but worth it, and it was fun to treat my cousin to Korean barbecue with everything included: panjan (side dishes), soup, and a hot pot of barley tea along with our meat. My only disappointment was the lack of sesame leaves which go perfectly with Korean BBQ lettuce wraps. It was a long wait on a Sunday evening, but with good reason. All the staff were super friendly. They especially like it when you speak in Korean with them.

Side dishes (complimentary): 7/10 - The side dishes were a highlight, with 4 out of 7 options impressing me. The cucumbers were marinated in a subtle, savory dressing, while the yellow radishes were lightly pickeled to achieve a refreshing, non-sour taste. Bean sprouts were enhanced with a hint of garlic, adding depth without being overpowering. But the standout was the kimchi -- a mellow, refreshing take with a gentle acidity that complemented the other side dishes perfectly. It is clear that these side dishes were lovingly made in-house, and their restrained flavors allowed each ingredient to shine without overwhelming the palate. Marinated Chicken: 8/10 - The marinated chicken was tender and juicy. Chicken was grilled to a nice char, while also retaining its juiciness. (Ask for a side of Gochujang sauce) Spicy Pork: 8/10 -The generous rub added a bold, spicy flavor that complemented the pork's natural gaminess. Other Korean restaurants that serve spicy pork do not compare well to this; the balance of this restaurant's take on the spicy pork was spot on. Tofu soup (complimentary): 6/10 - Some servings of the tofu soup lack a rich beef flavor; inconsistent --sometimes it really hits the spot, sometimes misses. FINAL REMARKS: Would come back again. *I have been to this place multiple times and results were pretty consistent for the most part.

Nice Korean spot in the city! The food portion is really big and could easily feed lot of people. The price is okay too. We did got our Tofu soup cold and had to remake it. Other than that, everything is good!

This authentic Korean BBQ spot in Central Richmond is within walking distance from the beautiful Golden Gate Park. If you’re planning a weekend lunch, they open at 11am. Arriving early is key—We were the first group, arriving at 10:55, but by 11:30, a long wait will be expected. The meal began with an impressive variety of complimentary banchan (Korean side dishes), a delightful start. The pork belly, beef short ribs, and assorted seafood were juicy and generously portioned. The kimchi jjigae was rich and full of flavor, while the steamed eggs served in a hotpot were fresh, tender, and satisfying. The seafood and scallion pancake was different from what we usually had—The slices were thick, more bread-like and less crispy. It was okay for us. Overall, the food was pretty good, and we would certainly consider visiting again, with an empty stomach for sure and friends to share!

I've been going to this place for over 15 years and it's by far the best korean food in the city! It got more expensive over the years and the wait time can be over an hour, but this best kept secret place is no longer a secret. Recommend going at lunch since they have lunch specials and it's not as busy. Like all other reviews, it's fresh, tons of side dishes, good quality meats. I order the short ribs and Bulgogi.

First time having Korean food. It was terrific! They started with a wide selection of pickled and spicy vegetables. Then a savory soup with fluffy tofu. Main courses were bulgogi and seafood stew. Both enough to share. Dinner menu is a bit pricey, but not for San Francisco. Everything was presented fast and tasted great. Also, for lunch, most of the menu was under 20. Really great value!

After a long time in SF I had food that was worth every penny you pay for it. The spicy beef and pork were absolutely the best Korean bbq I’ve ever had. They also provided us with a complimentary tofu stew that was so comforting. I’d definitely go back to this place in a heartbeat.
